Bastrop Chapter Alumni Meeting

(Qualifications, Election and terms of Office)

1. The financial status of a candidate for office must be verified by his/her local Chapter President and recorded with the Association’s Financial Secretary prior to being nominated for office.  All supporting documents must be submitted to the Nominating Committee by the Nominating Committee’s established deadline.

2.   Officers shall be elected by ballot at this meeting; financial members in attendance shall vote; the election is determined by a majority vote of those voting. Nominations may be received from the floor. Nominations from the floor will be verified as eligible candidates by the Nominating Chair prior to elections being conducted.

3. This term will ONLY be for FY 2022-23. Elections will proceed according to the chapter SOPs for FY 2023-25.
