Since 1875, Huston-Tillotson University has stood as a sacred ground for transformation—a place where dreams are nurtured, leaders are born, and legacies take root. As one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Austin and a proud Historically Black College and University (HBCU), HT has been more than just a campus; it has been a home, a launching pad, and a light for generations who dared to believe in something greater.

The legacy we protect today was forged by those who overcame seemingly insurmountable odds—freedmen and women, educators, community builders, and faith leaders—who laid the foundation so we could walk with purpose. Every graduate who walked across that stage, every educator who poured into our students, and every supporter who gave of their time or treasure is a living part of that story.

HTIAA—the Huston-Tillotson University International Alumni and Ex-Students Association—is committed to preserving this extraordinary legacy.
